I’m so close to just staying off facebook until the earth explodes. which if facebook has anything to do with it, will be November.

I miss Marketplace, and I definitely am more cut off from news about my family, but overall I’m so much happier after dropping it.

I disagree. There are so many pieces of news that no one would ever bother calling you about but are still good to know.

We re it not for Facebook, I would have missed one of the most important hours of my life, the time I spent with my step-sister who was in the hospital for cancer. It was a fairly routine visit, so no one would have called me to tell me she was going in, but because I spotted that on FB I could go and s pend time with her.

She passed away several months later.

I was thinking of turning powder forward into a cycling blog in the summer. I’ll ask other mods and see what they think. That blog is dead from May to December.
